Spring is finally here!! in Houston you don't often say that. But I was so happy when the days started to get less cold, this winter was intense. In the time I've lived in Houston I don't think we've EVER had as much snow as we did this past winter. It was one of those serendipitous moments from the movies when I was at a blogger event and it was getting late so I left, and as soon as I step outside the snow is falling all around me. I can't lie I was so overjoyed for many reasons. Last year was one of a lot of change and learning, the snow added the perfect bow and that last half of the year which was great by the way.
Even though Spring in Houston is a rare sight, it's a sight to see. The flowers are blooming and everything is so bright and colorful. I love a good wrap dress, and this Zara dress was the perfect one to celebrate the fact that summer was nearing with the coming of spring. On sale at Zara for $15 I saw it from afar and instantly fell in love with it. This day it was a little bit cool so the sleeves on the dress and my TopShop boots went hand in hand. PS. did I mention how good of an alternative this is if you can't splurge on a DVF wrap dress.
